YardView has built in functionality to interface with your other data.

YardView supports legacy .dat files, FTP, E Mail and E Mail attachments including Excel, XML, Web Services, EDI, GT Nexus, See Beyond and other formats. You can virtually define any import or export format you desire.

Here is an abbreviated example of a customer who is integrating with multiple systems to update YardView and create appointments.

Orders SAP Legacy Plant Legacy WMS Manugistics TMS

1. Orders flow from SAP to either the plant system or the WMS system.
2. As orders are filled at the plants and the Legacy Plant system is updated, the YardView trailer is updated with BOL and WMS Load number.
3. When the Plant system finalizes the load, the YardView trailer status is automatically changed to loaded and when going to a distribution center an unscheduled appointment is created.
4. The distribution centers see all loads coming to them from the plants and schedules the appointment.
5. For this customer when an unscheduled appointment is scheduled, it is proposed to the carrier and its status changes from Unscheduled to Carrier Accept. The carrier is automatically notified by email and logs in online to YardView and either accepts the appointment which changes the status to Scheduled, or counters with a different date and time which changes the status to Facility Accept and the distribution center either accepts or counters. Once an appointment data and time is agreed to its status is then scheduled.
6. The distribution gate guard inbounds the trailer by clicking on a report link which opens our Inbound page where they verify the seal number and record tractor number, driver name etc.
7. For outbound distribution center loads, when the Legacy WMS system is updated and routed through Manugistics the data feed automatically updates the YardView trailer with a TMS BOL, seal number and other information.
