How it Works:

A tamper-evident seal is used to secure a shipment and prepare it for verification upon arrival/departure.
A seal number is assigned and stored within the trailer’s digital record in YardView’s YMS.
When a trailer is ready to leave, the YardView system prompts the user to enter the seal number.

The user responsible for processing the outbound move must physically verify the security seal on the trailer and input the correct number into the system.
If they enter a matching number, the trailer is cleared for departure. If not, the system blocks the release.
